Pride Home Warranty cost
Pride Home Warranty is one of the cheapest home warranties we’ve reviewed so far. Plan premiums start as low as $25 per month.
However, prices vary by the location and square footage of your house. You’ll have to submit your contact information online to receive the most accurate quote for the type of home you have and the area in which you live.
Service fee
In addition to competitive plan pricing, Pride Home Warranty charges the lowest service fee we’ve seen yet. Customers will pay only $45 per claim. You’ll save $30—or more—per claim, as most service fees range from $75 to $125.
So, how does this deal get even sweeter? Pride won’t charge customers a second service fee for repeat visits. Parts are guaranteed for 90 days and labor is guaranteed for 30 days. That means that if you file a claim for a broken dishwasher and Pride’s technician repairs it, but it breaks again two weeks later, you’ll receive a second service for free.

Coverage length
After a 30-day waiting period, Pride Home Warranty coverage is effective for 365 days before customers are eligible for automatic renewal.
Pride often runs promotions for one to two extra months of free coverage. Call Pride Home Warranty today to find out if you’re eligible for 12 to 14 months of home warranty coverage.
Additionally, customers may cancel their service agreement at any time. If you paid an annual premium at the beginning of your contract, you’ll receive a prorated refund for the amount of coverage you haven’t used. Pride Home Warranty’s cancellation fee is $75, which is standard for most home warranty companies.
Coverage limits
Pride Home Warranty might deny your claim if one or more of the following are true:
- The item is not covered by your particular home warranty plan
- The covered item failed due to flood, fire, water, surge, power failure, or rust
- The covered item was improperly installed or modified
- The covered item was insufficiently maintained
A sample contract is labeled as Terms and Conditions on Pride Home Warranty’s website.
Pride Home Warranty Service Calls
Customers must file a claim within 24 hours of discovering a problem with a covered item.
There are three ways to submit a service request:
- Submit a claim online
- Call 1-855-774-3388
- Email info@pridehomewarranty.com
Pride Home Warranty will assign a pre-approved service provider to your home within two business days (turnaround times may be longer outside of business hours and on holidays). It is within the company’s discretion to deem a claim an emergency. You’ll pay the service provider your service fee of $45 or for the amount of the service—whichever is less. As mentioned above, Pride guarantees parts for 90 days and labor for 30 days.
Note: You should not hire your own contractor to fix a problem covered by your home warranty. You will not receive a reimbursement for services provided by a professional outside of Pride Home Warranty’s network.
Pride Home Warranty reviews
Pride Home Warranty has received positive reviews across the board. Here are some customer reviews from its website.
Stacy from Georgia:
My boiler went out in [the] middle of the night and I was surprised I had a tech come out the next morning at 8. He put in a thermostat for me and also told me a few maintenance tricks to lower my energy bill. Thanks.
Chuck from North Carolina:
I, like most people, am a first-time home buyer. I followed my real estate agent’s advice and got Pride Home Warranty.
Although my home inspection stated the washer/dryer were working fine, I found out otherwise when my wife tried to use it for the first time. I called Pride and set up a service call. Honestly, it was a smooth repair, it turned out my dryer needed a new control board and washer needed a lid switch.
Pride was there when I needed them most and I appreciate the quick turnaround for the repair.
Lucas from Pennsylvania:
So far, I have used the warranty twice and both times I received exceptional service! Thanks.
Linda from Ohio:
Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision. The plumber came out and replaced my master bathroom toilet and had my sink snaked. So far so good!

Our conclusion
House Method’s verdict on Pride Home Warranty is that it’s 4 out of 5 stars. We love how accessible Pride Home Warranty plans are. Customers have three options that are priced competitively low with even cheaper service fees. With such affordable prices, we almost can’t believe how generous Pride’s pay-out limits are (between $750 and $3,000 per claim). But the icing on the cake is Pride Home Warranty’s customer service. Its sales representatives aren’t pushy and really focus their pitch on the customer’s needs, wants, and budget. And its responsive customer service processes claims 24/7, so when something breaks, you know that it won’t be long before it’s fixed.
Pride Home Warranty is a good choice for you if …
- you’re on a budget
- good customer service is important to you
- you have older systems and appliances
